Definite west coast style that is very hoppy and malty. The citrus hoppy side leans towards orange with some light grapefruit - has some tropical notes but they are just notes. Then add some resinous pine to go with it. The malty side is just good old caramel but is in the background to compliment the hoppy side of this one. Overall it’s one of the better west coast styles I’ve had in a while. It says it’s unfiltered but doesn’t look so to me. Just a good old school version. I have to say I’m really digging the finding good west coast style IPA’s lately.
