In Houston with family trying out a Texas barley style ale. Strong at 10.1%. should be interesting. Very little head, lightly hazy and completely orange in color. Aroma of white grapes with a whiff of spice. Wonderfully confusing flavor. White wine, dark fruit and a mystery spice I can't identify. The alcohol shows itself in the finish, modestly trying to hide, but becoming uncovered. Ends so smooth and easy it will trick you into thinking you can have several. Don't be deceived. This a strong beer. It is delicious and convince you drink too many.
