In Houston for my last day of having beer with my son-in-law on a good Sunday football day. This is my second Trappist beer ever. A pumpkin beer, so this should be a unique experience. Moderate head, dissipates quickly. Hazy amber orange color. Aroma of sour fruit. Taste brings allspice, seems to be clove dominated. Mid-range reveals a light pumpkin flavor adding notes of sweet bread dough. Finish continues a pumpkin and allspice which is again dominated by cloves. From first to finish it is a reserved flavor, not very intense. It's good. Fantastic name and can for Halloween.
