More Whiskey River Ranch beers. Having another beer during a family beer fest. Intense coffee aroma, more of a French roast. As I try this, it'surprising to find only deep brown ale malt that has little carbonation. Swirl the glass and nitro type bubbles appear. Finally the coffee shows itself, bitter but not trying to dominate the palate. Not sure where they are trying to go with this. Not complex, no surprises. Seems bland and boring, not a beer to separate itself from other brews. Throw something together and put it a can. Has good promise as a base but needs more punch and a new flavor added to set it apart.
