Any Long Islander will tell you it’s not summer unless you’re outside with a Blue Point Summer Ale in hand. Who’s to disagree with a New Yorker?
Our refreshing Summer Ale is brewed using a substantial portion of wheat malt added to a traditional barley malt mix. This blend creates a unique tartness not commonly found in light ales, making it the perfect companion on the beach, barbecues or anywhere the summer sun takes you.

Has a light cracker/biscuity malt taste with some light grassy hops with just a hint of lemon citrus. Got a little wheat to it as I finish as it warmed up.
Overall it sounds good but it is quite watery, even for a summer ale

Deliciosa y refrescante sabor se debe a su malta de trigo y cebada, la cual resulta en una cerveza que quita la sed en los días más calurosos del verano, con notas de miel y citricos

There are no descriptions of the beer on this bottle label, probably because its contents are devoid of any sort of character. It tastes vaguely malty, a bit like American Budweiser, only not quite as bad.
