A rich, garnet coloured ale. Rounded bitterness with sweet overtones of oats. Delicious!

Very low prices, very nice beer, very very bad pub. Big, noisy, not that good service and bad behaving atmosphere in this Wetherspoon. More like party place than pub.

Black drop is a very slightly creamy dark ale which, to me, gave a pretty good impression that it had been brewed with oats, even though it hasn't. It has a little caramel sweetness balanced by a slight liquorice bitterness & is rather agreeable, a bit like an Oat Stout but marginally sweeter

More of a porter than a brown ale but it's a tasty pint and would definitely have another!

more like a stout or porter than a brown ale.
nice malty aroma. malty taste with a subtle almost liquorice note. slight sweet caramel taste with a burnt malt finish. slight bitter aftertaste but enjoyable. smooth and creamy easy drinking session ale

A decent one, with good sour chocolate start and coffee aftertaste. Met my expectations
