Made with Pale and Vienna malts from Niagara Malt in Cambria, NY and hopped entirely with fresh wet hops from Lupulin Fields in Fredonia, NY. Wet hops are fresh from the hop yard and not dried before use. This imparts a “fresh” taste, but requires considerable more volume to impart the same bitterness and flavor as dry hopping. To make this a truly local beer, we cultivated wild local yeast to ferment this beer creating a wild, funky beer that celebrates the 2015 hop harvest while using all local ingredients.
