Tonight’s dinner with the wife gone for the weekend is some nice chicken fingers. Figured a good red ale would go perfect and it does.

I'm pretty sure I've had this one too. My other Lake Placid beer of the month. 3 out 4 I already had. Disappointed. This has a sweet dark malts taste. I pick up some brown sugar with a hint of dark fruit. Not bad but not exceptional

Has a roasted malt taste that is sweet. Has hints of brown sugar & chocolate. Something a little funky to it tho. I just can't finger the funkiness. Far from the best English style brown ale but not bad.
