Drove over to Bigfork Montana to their local Flathead Lake Brewing Company. Well worth the trip. Bartender recommended this amber ale, I love amber's so I'm going to give it a try. Beautiful reddish copper color and it's crystal clear. Light Amber aroma. Thin crisp texture. Flavor is surprising and that it has no sweetness whatsoever. Toasted biscuit with strong hop bitterness. Finish continues this bitter trend on top of some very minor rough caramel. Their description says low bitterness and slightly sweet. I got totally the opposite. The caramel was so faint it was barely worth mentioning. I think they missed on this being an Amber ale.
