Extreme thirst after clearance of vegetation at the fringe of the yard 🥵 Let me try a pink cider from Lidl. The cider pours translucent... not pink but scarlet. Carbonation is not overwhelming but actually quite well-mannered and it produces a white, minuscule-bubbled head that exceeds one finger. The foamy lid melts rapidly downwards but wafts thinner on the surface for surprisingly long. The fragrance is awkward: it's supersweet with lots of artificial essences and something that reminds me of apple. The scent is even a bit perfumy and candy-like. I almost don't dare to sip this at all. My intuition proves correct as the sappy artificial liquid pours on my tastebuds. Apple juice is sweet like a heavily sugared version. Sweet fruit winegum is what comes to my mind when I try to assess this. Not my cup of tea at all! 😝 The finish is long-lasting. The mouthfeel is sappy, synthetic, candy-like and juicy. Interestingly, there's a faint drying element in the mouthfeel which brings a couple of decimals hike. Doesn't help my thirst. Fortunately I have a big bottle of sparkling water.

Tumman (ja vähän keinotekoisenkin) punaista. Alussa ranskalaista tallia, joka taittuu suht nopeasti omaan makuun hieman turhankin makean marjaisaksi jälkimauksi. Hyvä, mieto (2,5 %) vaihtoehto limukalle - silti aidolla ranska-siiderin häivähdyksellä.

Juhannussiideriä liiteristä. Hennon omenainen, reilun pirskahteleva, viipyilevän mauton... 😉
