Day #8 of Advent Calendar. This time a Fruited Gose. The beer pours impenetrable, blood orange colored. Carbonation is lively. A fluffy head climbs three fingers tall. Retention is long, and a decent lace ring adorns the top. The nose experiences first something odd: it's like a combination of fruit and sauce. I have to sniff multiple times if I get sauce. I do. I can't really specify the type of sauce but it's not fruity, rather a sauce that would season a meal. Fortunately the sauce-like aroma fades away gradually. I start then getting strawberry mash. Alone. After a while, I find a bit of fermented banana. Not particularly appealing. The tongue gets sour strawberry mash. The citrusy side gives lemon zest and a suggestion of pith. Banana sends regards from a distance, it's not fresh air all, rather fermented. Additionally, a moderate injection of salt joins the show. The body is light. The finish is dominated by medium-sour strawberry mash which closes the book rapidly. The aftertaste goes bananas — I mean gose bananas — and it's all messy. The mouthfeel is light, slightly tart, a tad dry but also distantly lip-glueing as well as spiced. Goes down but doesn't impress me.

Raikas, pieni suolasuus ja kirpeys, hento mansikka mutta banaania en kyllä maista. Alas menee kuitenkin.

Banaani ja mansikka molemmat edustettuina tarpeeksi hyvin. Todella hedelmäinen pirtelö. Mukavan paksu suutuntuma. Laktoosi pehmentää happamuutta, joka ei mene yli. Suolakin maistuu kivasti.

Vaahto yllättävän runsas. Tuoksussa ylikypsää mansikkaa ehkä myös sitä banaania. Hapokkuus suolaisuuden kanssa kivasti linjassa. Kypsää hedelmää on tarjolla aika reippaasti. Parasta ennen: eilen😅

Öljyinen fiilis, ehkäpä banaanista. Tosiaan varmasti jo tölkissä viihtynyt bisse toimi kaikesta huolimatta kohtuudella. Sopivan kirpeä, kevyen suolainen, aavistuksen ehkäpä tölkissä käynyt. Erittäin jämäkkä ja komean värinen vaahto.
