In Houston with my son-in-law and daughter having the state beer, Lone Star. New for Lone Star is this wheat beer. I know I've said I would never drink a Lone Star out of a glass but we both have Lone Star chalices for this.
The expected hazy deep yellow color. Moderate head that dissipates quickly. Mild and very drinkable wheat flavor. Flavor is a little weak but probably what they intended in order to make it a very high volume brew. I could actually sit down and drink this for an afternoon. Surprising.
