At Back Pew Brewing with my son in law trying our fourth beer on a flight of six. This place is great. You should visit this if you are in the area. Almost no head. Opaque brown color. Aroma is a roasted malt. Flavor is strong, deeply roasted with a charred bitterness. Finish has a subdued earthy flavor and the bitterness trails off. For the category of brown ale, I think they did a very good job.
