Decided to venture into ice cream + stout territory once again. Canned 14/03/21. So having some decadent Cloudwater pastry chocolate sauce along Cookie dough ice cream. Beer itself has a scent of fruity, deep dark chocolate. Slightly roasty aroma too. Tastes like bitter dark chocolate, but with certain notes of fruitiness, oranges, deep roastiness and bit of vanilla pods. A delicacy on its own, with smooth velvety body. Combine that with ice cream, and the beer gets more creamy flavour and less roastiness. Milk coffee, latte caramel flavours also enhanced. Licorice caramel and banana there as well. Pairs really well with vanilla ice cream with cookie dough bits. Amazing with both ice cream and on its own. I am left in awe completely. Wonder what bourbon barreling could do for this...
