0,5l bottle (when was the last time I had a NEIPA in a bottle?🤔) from TheBeerChannel beer tulip. BB 29.09.21. Probably bottled in March?
Interesting little detail is one of the "hops" used in this beer: Falconer's Flight. I had never heard of that before, so I had to Google it. It seems that Falconer's Flight is a hop-blend of Pacific Northwest hops. These include 7 “C” hops, Cascade, Centennial, Chinook, Citra®, Cluster, Columbus and Crystal in addition to experimental varieties developed by Hopunion LLC. The blend was named in honor of Glen Hay Falconer, a popular and up-and-coming American professional brewer who passed away in 2002.
It seems that my long day of studying continues while drinking beer.
Yellow and hazy beer with orange tint. Big white foam.
Wet and dank scent of pineapple, oranges, lemon and grass. Pretty nice fumes.
Low to medium carbonation. Mouthfeel is creamy, juicy and thick.
Dank fruits all the way. Overripe pineapple, sweet peach and apricot, zesty lemon with lime. Some bitter grapefruit and orange peels. All the basic flavors of a NEIPA. Some dry hay and wheat from the malts. Gets a bit stuffy as it warms up, and it wasn't exactly the freshest beer to begin with. Soapy lemon rises to the stage with the warmth, and sweeter notes of fruits become stronger.
Ends with dank and bitter fruity flavor of grapefruit, pineapple and lemon. A touch of pine can also be found.
Good (D)NEIPA. A lot of good flavors and a lovely mouthfeel. A bit fresher taste would make this great.

Maistuu kaikki hedelmät, mutta ei meinaa oikein erottaa mitään. Kuivahko. Pehmeää juotavaa ja uppoaa vaarallisen helposti. Lämmetessä tuli outo sipulimainen jälkimaku.
