Sweet but not overly sweet. Has a stone fruit taste that is mostly cherry. Foeder aged so it has a wood taste aspect to it that is cherry and maple. Scary part is you do not pick up any of the 11.2 % abv. Has to be one of the best barley wines I’ve had (not that I’ve had a lot). Has the perfect sweetness mellowed by the Foeder barrel wood.
