The massive hop additions in both the kettle and fermenter result in a vibrant, hoppy beer, bursting with hop aromas ranging from floral pine to grapefruit and lime.

Treaty City - Invasion IPA

Still had one of these around apparently. BB 04/22.
Label kinda ok, bit messy but nicely standing out.
Pours into glass with half finger foam and filtered yellow color.
Not much going on in scent. Bit hoppy I guess? Slightly fruity.
Taste is better. Grapefruit, zest, lime, citrus. Nice juicy tone. Bit soapy at times. Some bitterness which is almost in balance. Finishes quite bitter and dry, could use more fruitiness there.
Body is slick, balanced. Solid.
Well. This is decent. Perhaps bit too much bitterness for me, but nicely juicy & zesty grapefruitiness going on. Not bad. Would need more balancing to make me buy it though.

Standout label with a simple punkish feel to it. The sliders for malt, hops, body and colour with great. Loving that.
Stronger than my taste but distinct, bold and delivers what the label clearly indicates. Can taste the fruityness as well. I'd say bring it on. Tasting other beers from Treaty City later and expectations are set to very high.
