WOW WOW WOW !!

Makean kaakaoinen ensipuraisu. Kitkerähköä kahvia johon on kuitenkin ujutettu siirappia.

(Varmaan joku 4€/purkki)

New beer in Pint Please.
First of the miniseries of beers celebrating Mark Rothko.
Mark Rothko (September 25, 1903 – February 25, 1970) was an American abstract painter of Latvian Jewish descent. He is best known for his color field paintings that depicted irregular and painterly rectangular regions of color, which he produced from 1949 to 1970.
0,5l can from pint.
Canned 11.02.21, best before 2023.
Dark brown, a bit like muddy water looking beer with light brown foam.
Chocolate banana ice cream scent, sweet and nostalgic. When I was a kid, we used to have chocolate banana ice cream after sauna, and it smelled exactly like this. Can't remember the brand, could it be something that is still in production?
Low carbonation. Mouthfeel is thick, lip glueing sweet and cocoa powderish.
The taste is basically like the ice cream from my childhood mixed with stout or porter. I can already say that I'm going to score this high just because of the nostalgia. The fact that I'm having this at my family farm, which is my childhood home, doesn't really lower the score either. 😁😁
Sweet milk chocolate sauce, overripe bananas and creamy vanilla dance beautifully on the tongue and take me back the memory lane. Sitting on the sofa and watching TV with my mom, dad and sister (my brother wasn't born yet). We have just come out of the sauna and dad has cut us all a portion from a 1l ice cream carton. Life is good.
Some darker nuances like dark bread and coffee come forward as the beer warms up. Dried plums and raisins can be found on the background. Banana and chocolate remain as the dominant flavors and I really don't mind.
Alcohol is completely hidden and everything is perfectly balanced. Overall taste is very sweet, as one would expect from a Imperial Pastry Stout.
Ends with darker chocolate and banana peel bitterness.
Wow.
Never ever has a beer brought up so many good memories to me. This is like liquid nostalgia to me and it is also very good.
Perfect score is an understatement for this experience.
