Charmingly juicy looking, dark straw to pale yellow beer is wellnigh cloudy as it pours in the glass. Vigorous, sustained carbonation unlocks a perky, minuscule-bubbled head that clambers to three fingers easily. Retention is reasonable as the head shrinks gradually to a thin lacing. Yet, a neat ring kisses the glass gently and long. The scent is zesty and quite tropical: I love the citrusy medley of tangerine, orange and less prominent grapefruit pulp in the forefront. Cantaloupe dives discreetly into the same pool and is accompanied by a moderate floral nuance and a distant creamy touch. Is it summer that comes to my mind? The taste profile is soooo juicy and zesty and pulpy! A lovely cocktail of grapefruit, orange, less tangerine and a bit of cantaloupe plays a song of sirens to my tastebuds. A floral hint escorts remote coconut to join the treat. A modest dry-hoppy twist can surely be identified. The malty side is soft and relatively subjugated but still supports the package nicely. The body remains light. The finish loses quickly the sweeter fruits and carries over with grapefruit and slightly more intense dry-hoppy and grassy components. The aftertaste can’t hold its horses and wants to visit every bar and beer festival even before the restrictions are lifted. The mouthfeel is considerably zesty, very pulpy, bashfully crisp and a tad tropical but not strongly though. Summery and refreshing indeed, why not also crushable! And therefore very quaffable! The 2020 Pink Boots blend of hops works beautifully. The Pink Boots Society rocks! 🩰💄💋👛💖 Good stuff!
