Now an Ambrée. Can't be worse than the previous "malt water". I'm hoping... Fully murky. Not really amber but rather sludgy brown with a weird taffy pink hue. Wow. The head is velvety, thin and off-white. Not entirely brilliant. Less than one finger. Half a finger, maybe. Soon a ring only. And a series of downpouring traces. The scent fails to impress me. No surprise. It gives syrup, skärgårdsbröd, caramel, Digestive, dried apricot. At least I'm spotting something, not just trying to desperately capture something that is not there. Unexpectedly, looks like the olfactory sphere is more prominent than the gustatory one. I find apricot tea, moderate bitter caramel, a suggestion of brown sugar and Digestive. The flavor portfolio doesn't yield much profit anyway. The body is light. Finishes rapidly, I don't experience any difference. Or I don't bother to deepdive into the dna of this beer to be able to conclude something analytical. Not worth it. Same same. The mouthfeel is light, balanced, marginally lip-glueing but unfortunately quite characterless. Easy. I don't need to revisit this one either.
