För mig blir det full pott!

I've had 2 different vintages of Træblod. The first batch was phenomenal, the second not as good. Let's see what they have to offer with this 3rd batch. The aroma has a pretty equal mix of coffee and maple syrup. A bit of a letdown from the first batch, but it's the taste that counts. Taste has coffee first, followed by roasted malts and then maple syrup. This is tasting very similar to the 2020 version. No over the top maple syrup like in the original (2019, I believe) The body is medium-full with an appropriately lower amount of carbonation. They got this part right. Overall, still a very tasty beer, but I'd love for a future batch to be like the first time I had it. That one was a 5 star beer when fresh, and I believe I still have a can in the cellar. For the price they charge, I expect perfection, or damn near. Solid stout either way and I'll continue to pick up future releases. This one is a 4.25/5
