This is the second brew in Zack the Brewer’s Bastard Series, made using all in-house ingredients. This American style IPA is grounded with a base of Pilsner, Caramel, Munich and NYS Pale Malts that create the main body and supporting grainy sweetness of the beer. The malt profile is then rounded out with a small amount of Cherry Smoked and Chocolate Malts providing uncannily flavored malt backbone. But the brews real punch comes from the outlandish amounts of hops we’ve added. Bittered with pure essence of hop, we flavored the beer with massive additions of seven varieties ranging from Chinook, Horizon, Willamette, Amarillo Gold, to Cascade. This combination yields a fine balance of malt, hoppy bitterness, and a fresh hop aroma of floral citrus and pine. There's no need to deny yourself what you know your heart truly desires: more and more of this undeniably irresistibly hopped libation.
