Annoyingly when I hear stroopwafel I want to taste stroopwafel, not coffee with a hint of stroopwafel. It’s still a good beer and had I known it was coffee-centric I’d have probably bought it anyway. It just ain’t stroopwafel! Bitter cold-brew coffee dominates. Hints of caramel and a smidgen of vanilla cone through. I like it, but stroopwafel it ain’t.

Sweet caramel, burnt honeycomb and strong coffee with a little smooth vanilla thrown in the mix. It’s not quite stroopwafel but it’s bloody good 😋
