GREY’S VIEW
18 months Triple barreled Imperial Stout with cocoa nibs.
Oh sure, why not! Barrels are clear in this one. I taste milk chocolate ganache, some distant cocoa powder, that delightfully specific rum with bourbon and rye. Rye comes infront on the backend with slightly raw feel, making back of the mouth nicely warm and a bit charred. It has really pleasant feel of kick in it and it’s very well structured. Mouthfeel is medium+ with easy drinkability, so pretty damn decent to me. Alcohol pushes through, but I’ll give this a moment to warm up more and continue by myself from there.
OTHER NOTES:
Definitely a solid barrel aged Imperial Stout. Lovely. Will be better with cellaring and well warmed.
