I’m a big fan of Amundsen beers. Their IPAs are always solid and their adjunct-fuelled stouts are always on point. They’ll nail a stout to Christmas, hallowe’en etc without it being too sickly.
Dessert In A Can however has mixed reviews as far as I can tell and those that say these are too sweet have been putting me off for a long time. Until now… my local bottle shop is having a clearance sale so DIACs are going for £5 a can. I love tiramisu so this was a no-brainer, let’s give it a go!
Well, it ain’t tiramisu! But it ain’t bad at all, and it ain’t overly sweet, so I’m happy. It’s very boozy! Hints of marshmallow, thick and chewy. Definitely lacking in coffee and almond (I think that’s the tiramisu flavours 🤷🏽) but not complaining.
Whilst some of the DIAC range sound horrible (I’m not a big dessert fan), if this is anything to go by then some of the standard ones should be pretty decent.

Unbelievable beer. So much flavour in this and I think I’m a big fan of Amundsen
