Taking its origins from Bavaria, Marzen is German for the month of March. Only being allowed to brew between Sept 29 and April 24th under the Bavarian Purity Act, this beer was brewed in Spring and the remaining stashes were brought out for Oktoberfest. Brewed with Vienna, Munich, and Carahell malts, this lager has notes of subtle caramel tapering off to a smooth, dry finish.
