Aged for 2 years in my cupboard. Looks very black. The head stays a bit longer than on the aged 2021-version.
Aroma: Dried fruits. Brown sugar. Smells smooth and nice. Very different than from a fresh bottle.
Taste: The roastiness has enhaced. Less dried fruits than it initially had. Very smooth sweetness.
This is a different beer than it initially was. It has evolved, but I wouldn’t say that I enjoy this one more than a fresh bottle. Just different.

[Leftovers from last winter.] Aroma: Malty! Brown sugar. There’s also something I can’t put my finger on.
Taste: The dark fruit notes that I’ve noticed in this beer before is timid. It has become super smooth. There’s a bit of brown sugar and small hints of roasted malt, but overall it has come together in a nice way. It taste better than it smells.
Best before date (year) on this bottle is 2026, so maybe I should have aged it a bit longer. 😆

Nice aroma and taste of dark dried fruits and sweet malts. This years winter edition is better than last years.
