The barrel aged motherlord or my last review (Bear Grease). Mellow whiskey features prominently in both flavour and aroma. Warming alcohol envelopes the beer and nurses you whilst you sip this stunner. Oaty creaminess is still present however less dominant, chocolate features too. An added vanilla dimension as well as some caramel brings depth. First few sips are a bit of an overload but this soon mellows in to a silky, creamy, whiskey-laden onslaught of the tastebuds. A lovely drop to end the evening...
