BEER: Trichomes BREWERY: 450 North Brewing Co. BEER STYLE: TIPA COUNTRY: USA ALCOHOL (ABV): 10,5% COLOUR (EBC): Pineapple Yellow (13.0) BITTERS (EBU/IBU): - SCENT: Soft and fruity. Hints of sweetness and sugar with a tip of stronger citrusy backbone. Builds up really well as it warms up. FOAM: Swift stuff. Visits one finger height with large bubble, before fading away almost entirely. GREY’S VIEW Galaxy, Citra, Mosaic, Idaho 7, and Columbus Triple Dry Hopped TIPA. Interesting first sip. Taste presents semi sweet honeydew, fainter feel of orange juice with some apricots too. I found also good amount of grainy feel, some injections of drying white grapes and a lots of hop oils. Really intresting. Mouthfeel is almost light, slowly but surely drying and somewhat sweet, making this easy to enjoy. Dry hopping rate is beautifully executed; giving some dry notes, but mostly only strenghtening the main flavor profile. At the end, the hop oils has really settled into the mouth, presenting: solid amount of grapefruits, some feel of dry bread and juicier apricots. OTHER NOTES: My first go with this infamous can exploding brewery. Lovely brew with interesting flavors and overall feel. This can didn’t explode. Yay. CANNED 28/9/2020 TASTED 12/11/2020
