Canned on 28.9.2020 (so, about 1,5 months old) Temperature: +9 C Dark yellow color and of course hazy beer. The head rises tall, lasts pretty good but turns soapy looking quite fast. Broken lace: 4/5 The nose is "basic" with resiny pine and citrus notes. Mild mango-like scent at the back and then noticeably grainy wheat, from which I don't really like that much: 3,5/5 Mouthfeel is medium, round, mild, basically no existent bitterness. The wheat and oats seem to be building up the body and not the hop oils: 3,25/5 Taste has citrus, resiny pine, wheat, and oats, fruity... Boring. Like the brewers haven't used their imagination at all. Or perhaps this is just too old, but 1,5 months shouldn't be that much! : 8/15 I don't like this. Extremely dull and too much wheat and oat flavor. Nothing bad per se or off, it just NEIPA should be all hops and not rely on malts to build everything up: 13/20 =31,75/20

Pitkästä aikaa oli jääkaapissa Gamma Brewingiä, joten heti vaan testiin. Tölkitetty 28.9. ja uusi olut myös Pintille. ULKOASULTAAN olut on sameaa jaffankeltaista ja siihen nousee valkoinen vaahto. TUOKSU on ihanan hedelmäinen. Mangoa, mandariinia, appelsiinia ja passionhedelmää. MAKU... Ai, että on taas Gamma onnistunut IPAssa! Mangoa, appelsiinia, greippiä ja passionhedelmää. Jälkimakua kohti humalakäypyisää pihkaisuutta. SUUTUNTUMA on keskitäyteläinen ja kevyesti poreileva. On hyvää! Gamma on kyllä yleensä hyvän saatavuutensakin ansiosta yksi lempipanimoitani. Taas loistavaa työtä 😍! Miksi Untappd ka 3.76? Tosin vain n. 100 arviota.
