Back home from Tuscaloosa watching Alabama win. Watching more SEC football at home. Been nervous about trying this hemp cherry Berliner Weisse but it does come from one of my favorite breweries, Terrapin. Moderately high and very thick head. Aroma has a sour dank quality, even has soft notes of black cherry. Light orange color, thinly hazy. Flavor is much more tart than sour. As hard as I try, I can't find the cherry and the hemp is only a whisp in the finish. Much more like ripe lemons, a touch citrusy but without as much acid. I was very apprehensive on trying this, but, I actually like it. Very drinkable, no bitterness, easy on the flavor. Think I'll combine it with some quality cheese and crackers.
