Sick of maurading armies, our brewer's ancestors left the Palatinate as refugees in the early 1700s for England, taking the first Palatine ship to New York City, and spread out over cities and country alike, establishing the Rohrbach lines that survive to this day. This beer honours this story, using German malts in an English way with American hops to make a refreshing pale ale, meant to survive the times. Enjoy a Palatine Pale!
