Rommia, tynnyriä ja myös suklaata. Mukavan pehmoinen ja täyteläinen. Makupaletti hyvin runsas.

Ensin antamaani 3,5:n pisteen arvostelua joudun korottamaan 4:än.

Masterbar Rum & Bourbon BA with Vanilla & Cocoa, Poland
2.5
New beer in Pint Please. I'm one of the persons who thinks that on a Barleywine, especially with the English style one, as this is, often less is more. But this is infused with cocoa and vanilla...let's see. Bottled on 4.5.2020 Temperature: +15 C Deep amber color. Pretty good clarity. The uneven, fizzy head doesn't last that long. Nice color but otherwise the appearance is meh: 3,25/5 The nose is chocolate and awkwardly cognac, with murky barrel notes and then a hefty dose of vanilla. Rum lets the vanilla and Bourbon shine. Quite sweet and dessert-like. Weird. I'm looking for some malty complexity but can't find any. Such a shame really: 3,25/5 Mouthfeel is full, soft with alcohol pushing through a bit too dominant. Barleywine should be one of the most complex beer styles you'll ever encounter but this is just missing all that. In terms of strength, a Barleywine for sure, but that's not enough: 2,75/5 Taste is sweet with rum being more dominant than the vanilla/Bourbon. So, reversed as the scent was more vanilla orientated. Chocolate also tastes strongly. Overall the taste seems like some kind of rum, flavored with chocolate😝not really my cup of tea: 7/15 What a mess. No idea what would the version without any barrel aging and infusions taste like, but I'm guessing the less is more would probably show. Because as of now this is all over the place with no complexity. Just a punch of flavors with no connections to each other. Bottled relatively short time ago but a whole year in the barrels should do something with the beer. Not that great of a beer: 9/20 =25,25/50 UT rating for this is 3,98?! No fucking way. This is just getting worse with every sip. Or maybe I'm just not worth it
