[Canned 3 weeks ago] Citrusy, grassy, green, floral, herbal. Wheats shines through. I’ve had better beers from this brewery.

More Gamma, yes, please. Canned on 14.7.2020 Temperature: +8 C Gamma is one of those breweries that always manages to make their beers look astonishing. And such is the case with this one as well. I mean can NEIPA really look any better? Bright yellow color, hazy. Tall, fluffy, long-lasting head. Lace and all... Beautiful. Maybe a touch more juicy thickness and that would be it: 4,75/5 The nose is not really NEIPA like. Lots of citrus with a piney and resiny aromas. More like a West Coast IPA. Also something heavy but can't really describe it. Personally, I'm always looking for some tropical notes in NEIPAs and this one has zero. And not even a really juicy one either: 3/5 The mouthfeel on the other one has that juicy feel but perhaps not enough. And that juiciness feels like it's coming from oat and wheat malts rather than from the hops. Not much bitterness which is good: 3,5/5 The taste is similar to the scent but with more thickness=juiciness to it. Citrus taste is the strongest and resiny plus piney flavors arise in the very end. Hops used are Citra, Chinook, and Columbus and I have no idea why Gamma has decided to use those in a NEIPA. It just doesn't work: 10/15 This lets you down. Weird NEIPA but I have to say, Gamma can really get much off from the hops, the intensity of flavors is really good in this one as well. But hard to love this since this just isn't what I'm looking for NEIPA to be. They should just cut the oats, add more bitterness, and call this a West Coast IPA. I think it could work: 14/20 =35,25/50
