Savua en mausta löytänyt, ennemmin tervaa. Silti kivan pehmeä ja tasapainoinen.

Tuoksussa savua, nokea, limppua ja hieman lakritsia. Melko täyteläinen suutuntuma. Savuinen ensipuraisu. Hiiltynyttä puuta ja aavistus palvikinkkua. Lakritsia ja maltaista limppua. Lämmetessä myös vähän pihkaa ja melassia. Oikein näppärä.

Tummaa leipää, kuivattua hedelmää, leipäsiirappia. Savuisuutta aika hintsusti.

Tumma ja pari sormen vaahdolla olevan polski savuolut. Maussa tervaa, savuisuutta ja salmiakkia. Kyllä nämä vaan sopivat joulun aikaan ja kinkun kaveriksi👌

Day #22 of Advent Calendar. The beer colors deep dark brown with a stark burgundy tint and relatively clear appearance. Lazy carbonation creates a thin tawny head that spreads on the surface up to half a finger's height. Short retention leads quickly to a fully still top. Sweet malt, a bit of brownie and cacao nibs are among the first components to rise to the nose. Smoke scruples a bit first but gains courage and emanates to the nostrils right thereafter. The latecomers are raisin and dried plum, much less voluminous, of course. The flavor medley seduces my tastebuds big time: a generous wisp of smoke whirls around copious dark malt, roasted rye flour, tar, a crack of bitter burned wood and a hint of unrefined licorice root that try their best, one by one and then all together, to get my attention. And indeed they catch it! 🤎🤎 The body reaches the level of medium-full. It's well adequate for 8 %. The finish doesn't much deviate from the actual taste but comes to the end fairly fast. Perhaps the finish is slightly more bitter though. The aftertaste smokes two cigarettes at the same time as it wants to live fast like a rock star. The mouthfeel is medium-strong, amply smoky, roasted, even faintly charred and remotely drying. It's both rustic and husky but also relatively smooth. And certainly appetizing: I'm hungry even though I shouldn't be. 🤷🏼‍♂️
