Hop Squanch is an American style brown ale. Roasted malt, caramel-like and chocolate-like charactoristics lead to a medium intensity in both flavor and aroma. It has a medium hop flavor and aroma and medium to high hop bitterness. The history of this style dates back to U.S. homebrewers who were inspired by English-style brown ales and porters but wanted more hop flavour. The hops we use create a complex citrus taste that balances with the roasty malt.
