My beer parcel finally arrived today after being lost from the Finnish post for weeks and eventually returned to the seller. Fortunately only two out of 25 beers are of DIPA/NEDIPA style whereas the absolute majority are Imperial Stouts, Barley Wines, Quads, Wee Heavy and other non-perishable styles. The collection was going to be my Beer Advent Calendar but it failed. Instead of starting now in the midway, I drink these every now and then towards the end of the year, during Christmas and New Year break and beyond as long as they last. Probably not too long anyway... 😋🍺 This DIPA boasts of six hops. The label art is intriguing, no idea what creature it is but it's obviously very rare. Maybe even endangered. The beer colors simply beautiful, like thick mango juice. The extrovert carbonation unleashes a brilliant white, soft velvety head that surpasses 1.5 fingers. The retention is really long as the contracted head floats as a foamy pillow on the surface. The retreating froth messes the glass with a dense lacing. The nose enjoys astonishingly powerful strawberry, some mango, bubblegum and a pinch of coconut. Additionally, I'm getting a bit of peach and a drop of mandarin juice. ❤️🧡💛 The taste receptors love the soft fruity nuances: orange, mandarin, mango, pineapple, apricot and peach. Strawberry is not absent in the taste either. Coconut is modest, so is vanilla. Quite milkshakey in effect. The flavor cocktail is also interestingly diverse given the best before date will be on 15 Dec, i.e. the day after tomorrow. So, this is half a year old and was, of course, discounted in the webshop. Not sure, though, how much of the sweeter bubblegummy taste is a result of the age -- at least the zesty citrusy side is subdued -- and how much that of the hop composition, especially Ekuanot and Sabro as well as Galaxy to a lesser extent. Whatever the reason is, this is simply awesome! 💛🧡❤️ The body is medium-full to full. That's actually super since the ABV is not more than 8 %. The finish is soft and smooth, portraying sweet pineapple, mango, mandarin and apricot. Orange and strawberry can't be missed either. Coconut and vanilla cream feature nicely in the immediate proximity. The aftertaste shakes, rattles and rolls on tongue for a short time only. The mouthfeel is velvety, mellow, creamy and milkshakey. It's colossally tropical, nicely deep, juicy and pulpy. Relatively multidimensional and nicely appealing. At least this is well aged! And still so flavorsome!

Pitkästä aikaa Verdanttia lasiin Pavement Licker Dipa🍺,mistä on monia eri (24) tölkki kuoseja saatavilla😎.Meinas melkeen jäädä tämä (liian) pitkäksi kaappiin😅.Tölkitetty 15.6.20 eli lähentelee jo 7 viikkoista. Humalina hääräävät Ekuanot,Sabro,Amarillo,Galaxy,Idaho7 ja Simcoe.Siinä rupee olemaan taas kattausta 😎🍻. Tuoksu raikas ja makean(sokerisen) mandariininen,kevyen melonisen mangoinen ja ihan kuin hyppysellin sitä kookostakin saattaisi vilahtaa😋. Maku on vielä tässäkin iässä melkoisen makean hedelmä pommin sisällään pitävä🤪.Mandariiniä,mangoa ja ananasta lähes pilvin pimein,melko makeaan tapaan tarjoiltuna.Tässä ekan kerran Ipoissa/Dipoissa tuon Sabron poimin selkeämmin tuolta mausta,puskee sellaista vähän raskaan oloista kevyen rasvaista kookoksisuutta esiin🤔.Vähän kahen vaiheilla pidänkö siitä tässä vai en😅🤷‍♂️. Suutuntuma on miellyttävä kermaiseen taittava,kauraisuuden sitä vielä aavistuksen pöyhentäessä.Melko täyteläinen ja 🤤. Tämä varmasti noin kolmisen viikkoa sitten ollut vielä antoisampi kyntäjä.Vieläkin uppoaa kuin puuro hullulle😅🤷‍♂️.Vähän kuin olisi ollut miehekkäämpi katkerointi tässä melko makeassa matkassa,vielä mukana olisi ollut aivan posketon varmasti tämä.(ainakin tuoreempana😅) 🍻😎👊

Työviikon, salin ja saunan jälkeen alkaa LOMA ja sen kunniaksi vähän olutta. Verdantin NEDIPAa päiväyksellä 15.6. ULKOASULTAAN olut on sameaa ananasmehunkeltaista ja siihen nousee kuohkea valkoinen nätti vaahto. TUOKSU on hedelmäinen: ananaksinen, mangoinen, passionhedelmäinen, greippinen ja taustalla aavistus sabron kookoksisuutta. MAKU... ae, että on pehmeää. Kermaisuutta, mangoa, passionhedelmää, miedosti ananasta, yrttisyyttä ja greippiä. Loppumakua kohti greippi nousee selkeämmin esille. Ja sabro, ai miten hyvin on tuolla taustalla tuo kookoksisuus ja tekee oikein 👌 pehmeän kermaisen aromin kanssa. Pirtelö-mehu-IPAa! SUUTUNTUMA on melko täyteläinen ja pehmeä. Aah... Tää sabrohan alkaa toimimaan! Muutenkin vähän erikoisehko tuo humalakombo. Todella kesäinen ja kesälomainen nedipa. Tykkään ja kovasti. Jälkikäteen kun katson muiden arvosteluita, niin en ainakaan omastani vihannesta onneksi löytänyt. Olisiko tuurilla osuutta asiaan?🤔
