Mikkeller Beer Club Exclusive 0,375l bottle from tulip. Beautiful bright ruby red beer with shock pink foam that disappeared so fast that I didn't get a photo of it! Funky farmhouse and sour cherry smell. Medium to high carbonation. Juicy mouthfeel, but slightly thin. Intense funky and sour first sip. A generous amount of cherries and blackcurrant with interesting combination of sweet and dry sensations. Funky taste follows you everywhere and it's quite overwhelming, not an easy brew this one. Some cellar and yeast can be found. Oak barrel just barely comes through. Dark berry taste intensifies as the beer warms up and covers the funky taste a bit. Overall on the dry side. Gentle and dry cherry bitterness with red wine like note. Slow sipper. Challenging but rewarding. Good one.
