Imperial Gose with whitecurrants. Sounds demanding... 😬 Turbid, mango-juice-colored beer with a modest milky hue fills the glass. Reserved carbonation creates an almost bubbleless head that fails to reach half a finger's height. Soon a hair-thin lace ring is the only remnant on the top. Likewise, the glass is intact. The scent is astonishingly fruity: good loads of orange, lemon, apple and green gooseberry can be captured. Even more surprisingly, the fragrance is almost not sour at all but somewhat sweet juicy. The taste profile slams on the face. Sour carambola and orange constitute the package. Whitecurrant is identifiable but so is gooseberry that isn't even in the beer. Wheat softens the cocktail and is accompanied by a note of pink salt. The body is light. The finish offers a limited herbal note that originates obviously from coriander seeds. Whitecurrant, lemon zest and a small injection of orange pulp alternate on the tongue. Salt is still evident. The aftertaste doesn't stay long in the mouth. The mouthfeel is quite light albeit the ABV clocks 8 %. It's also moderately herbal, slightly dry, medium-tart but only mildly puckering. It's, further, zesty and a bit zippy as well as rather soft. Not demanding at all. 😃

Hyvin valkoviinimäinen, ei lukeudu omiin suosikki goseihin. Alkoholi ei tunnu ollenkaan.

Yllättävän hyvä gose! Kerrankin suolaa niin että sen huomasi. Voltit ja lisämausteet toi tähän mukavasti lisää eikä maistunut pelkkä hapan. Varovasti sai kaataa kun oli pullon pohjalla paljon kaiken maailman irto muhjua.

A nice dry gose, I'd like more of a coriander hit though.

Kiva perusgose. Sopiva happamuus, kiva suola ja korianteri. Todella täysipainoinen kokonaisuus.
