In Rome Georgia Christmas shopping and found a new place that has a great selection of beer. Having this Sweetwater beer on tap instead of in the bottle. Dark brown color, can't say much more since it's in a plastic cup. Good sweet malty dark flavor with winter spices. Some cinnamon and nutmeg. Really good beer. Wish I could stay and have another.

Surprisingly complex beer, almost a mullednwine of beer with its intricate blend of spices. Balanced so perfectly that the 8.1 ABV really sneaks up on you! I couldn't believe it on account of how smooth it was.

This has a BIEB date of 1/26/20 date so take my review with a grain of salt. It does have a little stale taste right off the bat. Maybe I’m just judging seeing the date. Has a molasses, brown sugar, chocolate, roasted malts taste to it. Given that, it is not super sweet. Kind of has a Belgium dark aspect to it that seems to be coming thru the further I get into it. There is some spice to it that is muted - maybe due to the age. Overall I find it pretty tasty and would love to try a freshy.
