With just enough dark malt to be black this Porter leans toward the dry side in its malt profile. The addition of a partial sour mash (not uncommon in pre-Industrial Revolution Porters) lends a subtle tartness to the bittersweet chocolate flavour that dominates.

Wow that's good. Overwhelming chocolate notes meet your tastebuds first, melting over your tongue into a creamy, sweet flavour. Its dark and its delicious!

Caramel & Chocolate malts upfront, nice almost sessional black 6%, slightly more bitter mouth feel, head disappeared quite quickly, not bad from one of BC's quality crafters
