This strong dark copper barley wine has a prominent flavour of berry fruit, laced with pronounced spice. The finish is warming, smooth and sweet. A unique style of beer with ‘hop wine’ overtones.

A powerful brew to be taken seriously. A copper coloured barley wine with the ability to satisfy the most discerning palate, with tantalising tangs of berry fruits and spices.

I don't have much experience with this type of ale and the last ale I drank of this type was a very hard act to follow , it was on the edge saison a lovely fresh dry hopped ale brewed by the poppyland brewery in cromer Norfolk , a tiny brewery brewing out of just one room but overall audit ale has a lot of flavour and is worth drinking if you like a smooth ale of this type with clout
