Jest Dobrze = it's good. "Drink fresh or the coconuts will fall off!" Sure thing. Bottled 19/02/20. Liking the bottle label. Reminds me of Trillium's Imperial Stouts, mainly coconut truffle. Yet to taste it, though. Black beer, not giving much foam. Scent has dark chocolate, faint coconut and cognac. Taste has medicine-like cognac, herbal licorice, dark chocolate, coconut and finishes at woody cognac which gives warmth on throat. Flavours are quite refined and smooth. Body is fluffy smooth, fills the mouth nicely but still is very light. The only downside of this beer, really, is the lightness. It's quite as I could say it is both full and light in body. Really unique in that sense. Truly fascinating. Barrel is there and it doesn't take over too much. Still present though. Coconut is coming over more once warming up, but not taking over the whole flavour scale. Dark chocolate (probably coming from coffee) is nice here. It is herbal, sweet and little bitter-ish. Good scale of different flavours. As much as I like this, it could be even more to my liking with heavier body and flavours. Also, the finish stays a bit too flamey with alcohol.
