Burning River Pale Ale

Top Notch Pale Ale. Full of sweet Flavorful hop tones and a touch of vanilla flavor. Very similar to their Christmas Ale but not as spicy.

Must be on a pale ale kick, with my last couple of posts. I've had this beer numerous times, but it's the first time I've ever seen it in a can. Always enjoy a Great Lakes (but I have to admit I'm a homer; the brewery is a couple hours up the road). The burning river is a solid pale ale. Drinkable with a tad of bite. The can advertises itself as "Citrusy and Piney". Not picking up much of the citrus, but the pine does come through.

More flavor than most pale ales, but a bit too tangy and orange for my taste.
