Zacherl Bräu
In Munich, Zacherl Bräu is synonymous with Paulaner, the famed brewery saved from ruin in the early 1800's by brew master Franz Xaver Zacherl. In the 1890's, Chattanooga Brewing Company began brewing its own Zacherl Bräu — a rich, dark beer heavy in substance and loaded with nutrients we billed as “pure liquid food.” Today, we present a more modern take: a Doppelbock-style lager brewed with authentic Munich malts and hops. Traditionally brewed and lagered for over eight weeks, this beer is stacked with sweet biscuit flavors, layers of caramel and hints of dried fruit, revealing a low-hop presence paired with a rich, full body.
