6.7% Scotch Ale / Wee Heavy
This dark red ale has a full-bodied flavour of malt on an excellent background of hop bitterness. The sweet malt offsets the fruity bitterness of the Perle and Bramling Cross. Savour this ale like a fine wine. Old Jock is a classic Scottish Ale and like all strong ales is best enjoyed at room temperature 10-12 deg C.

This is a strong tasting ale, malty and quite heavy. Decent but you couldn’t have many.

Se si tira fuori dal frigo questa birra rosso scuro, bisogna avere la pazienza di aspettare che si scaldi un po' perché dia il meglio di sé. Ne risulta una birra morbida e corposa, con un sottofondo di caramello, su cui emerge un gusto fruttato con note di uva passa e susina. L'ho apprezzata.
