The Baltic Emperor returns clad in Rum & Bourbon BA with vanilla. Age is probably roughly 1.5 years, since best before is on 31/05/21. Scent has mostly vanilla and caramelized bourbon oak. Taste has wholesome bourbon, vanilla, oak, caramel, dark fruits, cocoa, brown sugar, honey nectar, finishing up with vanilla, rather toned down malty bitterness and perhaps rum. Full package flavourwise, body isn't as heavy but surely handles itself smoothly with medium thickness. It is under 10% after all, but again, has a plenty of flavour. Surprisingly good. Lot of flavours there, don't feel it'll get too complex later on but tastes rather different to non-BA version.
