After a bit of maturing starts to get nicrly balanced. Coconut is still very strong, almost overwhelming but not quite. Not the most full-bodied yet, but getting quite good in that regards. Other flavours linger in the background, but caramel is pleasantly present in the aftertaste. Nose is dominated by coconut. Color is a bit brown-ish, and head is quite thick but disappears quickly. Overall really nice homebrew!

Retry. Non-labeled bottle, filled until top so not end or beginning of the batch. Gives about a finger of foam which sizzles away quickly and doesn't appear again. Scent has coconut and lot of oak chips, balancing between intense two. It's a bit meaty, but not in a very good way. Taste has coconut, some oak, maltiness, little vanilla. Flavours are quite soft and there's occasional off-flavour, not sure what that is. Bit sour sweet? Body is quite flat. Smooth, slightly carbonated. Bit light. Warms the throat. Well. Oak chips are too strong, body is too light. Still, it's quite decent for a homebrew.

Pastry imperial stout, josta ei ainakaan kookos jää piiloon. Kiitokset tästä Jarille. Lähes musta olut lasissa, beige vaahto häviää aika nopeasti pinnalta. Tuoksussa makeaa kookosta, kaakaota, hieman paahteisuutta ja tummaa suklaata. Runko ei ole niin paksu kuin odotti, mutta maku korvaa sen. Kookos taas hyvin esillä yhdessä makean suklaan ja kaakaon kanssa. Alkoholi pysyy hyvin piilossa.

Mustaa olutta nopeasti haihtuvalla vaahdolla. Tuoksussa reilusti lempeää kookosta ja kahvia. Suutuntuma keskitäyteläinen, vähän ehkä runkoa voisi olla reilummin. Maussa pehmeää paahteisuutta, kahvisuutta, kookosta. Kaakao erottuu jälkimaussa mukavasti. Pehmeä ja monikerroksinen hieno maku. Kaiken kaikkiaan herkullinen stoutti, hyvä Jari! Oot kova panemaan.

Jari J. beer coming up again. I was a partial funder of this beer and decided the final name. Scent has coconut, faint oak. Taste has coconut, vanilla (lactose), bit of very tiny bitterish malts and coconut again at finish. Like raw bounty chocolate bar. Nice dryness at finish which balances smoothness. Bit of dark chocolate. Coconut and little banana flavour as well. Mouthfeel is not very thick, but nice coconut flavours overcome that. Rather nice 1st pastry impie by Jari, looking forward tasting and aging the 3 bottles I have left from this batch. Cheers!
