The evening calls for an eisbock. It's been a while with this style. Bottled over 2,5 years ago. Scent has bourbon. Malts, sweetness. Taste has sweet bourbon, banana, vanilla. Malts and bit alcoholic finish. The sweetness has a bit unpleasant characteristic. I don't really enjoy this. First of all, not a big fan of Jack Daniels myself and the alcoholic sweetness is too much. I've had only a few ice distilled ones so far but this is not among the best of them. Hmm, a good thing that sweetness tones down a lot once this warms up to room temperature.
