Master brewer Gerard van den Broek made his ideal wheat beer: Hertog Jan Weizener. This willful wheat beer combines the best of a German weizen and Belgian witbier. The hop, malted wheat, fresh yeast, coriander and orange peel give it a full, fresh flavor and a deep gold color with a slight haze. The secondary fermentation on the bottle creates a fresher and richer taste and aroma.

Ptite bière que je pensais sans prétention, quelle agréable surprise ! Belle sucrosité fraîche surprenante au départ, qui rend la bière plutôt nourrissante. Ça se dilue tranquillement, presque pas d'amertume, une finale douce. Très bien ça ! !

Raikkaan hapokas vehnä. Vehnäinen runko, seassa kevyesti korianteria ja pinnalla ohuesti appelsiinin kuorta. Jälkimaku taittaa belgiin. - - - Refreshing and well carbonated wheat beer. Wheaty base with light coriander and a hint of orange peel on top. Aftertaste turns towards Belgiany.
